The best SEO reporting tools for agencies in 2026 are AgencyAnalytics for white-label client dashboards at a per-client price, Google Data Studio (formerly Looker Studio) for free custom reports, and DashThis or Swydo for simple, fast monthly reporting. If you already pay for Semrush, SE Ranking or Ahrefs, their built-in report builders can cover SEO-only reporting without another subscription.
This guide is for agencies and in-house teams that report SEO results to e-commerce and Shopify brands. You'll get a ranked list of eight tools with prices checked on each vendor's own pricing page on October 27, 2026, a comparison table, a cost model for ten clients, the metrics a monthly report should actually include, and a step-by-step setup you can copy this week.
Best SEO reporting tools at a glance
Every price below was read from the vendor's own pricing page on October 27, 2026. Vendors change plans often, and some pages show prices in your local currency, so confirm before you buy. We ranked tools on how well they serve an agency reporting to online stores: connecting revenue data, white labeling, cost as you add clients, and how much setup each report needs.
| Rank and tool | Best for | Starting price (checked Oct 27, 2026) | White label | Free trial |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1. AgencyAnalytics | Multi-client agency dashboards | $20 per client per month, billed annually | Yes, plus client portal | 14 days |
| 2. Google Data Studio | Free, fully custom reports | No charge; Pro is $9 per user per project per month | Your own branding on any report | Free tier |
| 3. DashThis | Quick dashboards with little setup | $54/mo for 3 dashboards ($44/mo annually) | Yes, all plans | 14 days |
| 4. Swydo | Simple pricing by data source | €69/mo, 10 data sources included (€62/mo annually) | Yes, included | 14 days |
| 5. Semrush reports | Teams already on Semrush | Base Report $10/mo or Pro Report $20/mo add-on | Pro Report only | Free plan available |
| 6. SE Ranking | SEO plus AI search tracking in one | Core $129/mo ($103.20/mo annually) | Agency Pack, +$69/mo, annual only | 14 days |
| 7. Ahrefs Report Builder | Teams already on Ahrefs | $99/mo add-on | Not stated on pricing page | Free plan available |
| 8. Whatagraph | Larger agencies, many data sources | From €699/mo, billed annually | Yes | Not stated |
Two free Google tools sit under all of these: Google Search Console for clicks, impressions and queries, and Google Analytics 4 for sessions, conversions and revenue. Every tool on this list is a way to pull those two sources (plus a rank tracker) into one report a client will actually read.
How we ranked these SEO reporting tools
We did not run a lab test, and we don't publish scores we can't back up. We ranked on criteria you can check yourself on each vendor's site, weighted for agencies whose clients sell online.
| Criterion | What to check | Red flag |
|---|---|---|
| Revenue data | Does it connect GA4 e-commerce revenue and Shopify, not just traffic? | Reports stop at sessions and rankings |
| Cost as you grow | Price per client, per dashboard or per data source | A plan jump at client 11 that doubles the bill |
| White label | Your logo, colors and domain on reports and any client portal | White label locked to the top tier or an annual add-on you didn't budget |
| Setup time | Templates for SEO, scheduled email delivery, reusable widgets | Every new client needs a report built from scratch |
| Data freshness | How often each connector refreshes and how history is kept | No way to see when data last updated |
The order reflects fit for a typical agency serving Shopify and e-commerce brands. A solo consultant with three clients, or an enterprise team with one brand, may reasonably pick a different winner, and the "best for" column above tells you which one.
The 8 best SEO reporting tools, ranked
1. AgencyAnalytics
AgencyAnalytics is built for exactly this job: many clients, one login, branded reports. Its pricing page lists a Core plan at $20 USD per client, per month, billed annually, with a 14-day free trial and no credit card required. Each client gets unlimited data sources and unlimited reports and dashboards, and the page lists 90+ integrations.
- White label: your logo, color scheme, custom domain, custom email and a white-labeled client portal.
- Rank tracking: an add-on at $41.67 a month per 500 keywords, billed annually, covering desktop, mobile, local and international rankings.
- AI features: AI summaries, anomaly detection and an AI Tracker add-on ($20.83 a month per 250 credits, billed annually) for brand visibility in AI engines.
Why it ranks first: the per-client model keeps costs predictable as you sign clients, and the client portal means stores can check results between reports. Watch for: rank tracking costs extra, so budget for it if keyword positions are part of your deliverable.
2. Google Data Studio (formerly Looker Studio)
Google has renamed Looker Studio back to Data Studio. Its product page states that Data Studio "is available at no charge for creators and report viewers," and lists Data Studio Pro at $9 per user per project per month for team content management, Google Cloud support and admin features. The native Search Console and GA4 connectors make it the cheapest way to build a fully custom SEO report.
Why it ranks second: nothing beats free for flexibility, and you control every chart. Watch for: you build and maintain each report yourself, and connectors for non-Google tools often need a paid third-party connector. Agencies with more than a handful of clients usually spend more in staff time than a paid tool would cost.
3. DashThis
DashThis prices by dashboard. Its pricing page lists Individual at $54 a month for 3 dashboards ($44 a month billed annually), Professional at $164 for 10 ($139 annually), Business at $324 for 25 ($279 annually) and Standard from $499 for 50 or more ($429 annually). White label is listed on every plan, and the trial gives you 10 dashboards free for 14 days.
Why it ranks here: it is fast to set up and easy for clients to read. Watch for: plan steps are big, so a 26th client moves you from $324 to $499 a month on monthly billing.
4. Swydo
Swydo sells one plan with all features. Its pricing page lists €69 a month (€62 a month billed annually), with the first 10 data sources included and extra sources at €4.50 each from 11 to 100. The FAQ quotes the same figures in dollars and says prices are in EUR for EU countries and USD elsewhere. White labeling is included, and the trial is 14 days with no credit card.
Why it ranks here: simple, transparent pricing that scales smoothly. Watch for: a data source is a connected account, so a client with GA4, Search Console and Google Ads uses three.
5. Semrush reports
If your team already lives in Semrush, its reporting add-ons are the shortest path. The Semrush pricing page lists a Base Report add-on at $10 a month (data from 20+ Semrush tools, GA4 and Search Console integrations, scheduling and PDF export) and a Pro Report add-on at $20 a month, which adds branding and white labeling, 20+ external integrations and sharing by link. The SEO plan itself is listed at $139 a month with 5 websites and 500 keywords tracked daily.
Watch for: you need a paid Semrush plan underneath, so this is only cheap if you already pay for one.
6. SE Ranking
SE Ranking combines rank tracking, audits and reporting. Its subscription page lists Core at $129 a month ($103.20 billed annually) with 10 projects, 2,000 keywords and 100 AI prompts tracked daily, and 10 reports in the Report Builder. Growth is $279 a month ($223.20 annually) with 30 projects, 5,000 keywords and 30 reports. White label for the platform and reports comes through the Agency Pack at an extra $69 a month, billed annually only.
Why it's useful: it tracks Google AI Overviews, AI Mode, ChatGPT and Gemini alongside classic rankings, which matters as more product research starts in AI answers.
7. Ahrefs Report Builder
Ahrefs lists Report Builder as a $99 a month add-on with 50 reports, 500 total widgets and scheduling. Ahrefs plans start at $129 a month (Lite), and the Looker Studio integration is listed from the Advanced plan ($449 a month). The pricing page does not mention white-label reports, so confirm with Ahrefs before you promise branded reports to clients.
8. Whatagraph
Whatagraph's pricing page lists its Max plan from €699 a month, billed annually, with 50 or more source credits (one credit per connected data account), unlimited users and reports, and white-label reports. A custom Prime plan adds more. It is built for agencies with many clients and many channels, and the entry price reflects that.

What an SEO report tool costs for 10 clients
List prices hide the real question: what will this cost at your current client count? Here is a simple model for an agency reporting on 10 clients, using annual billing and US dollar list prices from each vendor's page.
View the data
| Value | |
|---|---|
| AgencyAnalytics (10 x $20) | $200 |
| SE Ranking Core + Agency Pack | $172.2 |
| DashThis Professional | $139 |
| Google Data Studio | $0 |
Source: QCK illustrative calculation from AgencyAnalytics, SE Ranking, DashThis and Google pricing pages, October 27, 2026
- AgencyAnalytics: 10 clients at $20 each is $200 a month. Add $41.67 a month per 500 tracked keywords if you need its rank tracker.
- SE Ranking: Core at $103.20 plus the $69 Agency Pack for white label is $172.20 a month, and it includes 2,000 daily keywords across 10 projects.
- DashThis: Professional covers 10 dashboards for $139 a month.
- Google Data Studio: $0 in software, but you pay in hours to build and maintain each report.
The cheapest line is not always the cheapest choice. If a free tool costs an analyst three extra hours per client per month, that time usually outweighs a $200 subscription. Price the tool and the labor together.
What a monthly SEO report should include
A good tool cannot fix a report that measures the wrong things. For an online store, the report should answer one question first: did organic search make more money this month, and why? Founded by a CPA, QCK puts revenue and ROI first and reports revenue to clients every month, because that is the number a store owner uses to decide whether SEO is working.
| Metric | Where it comes from | Why an e-commerce client cares |
|---|---|---|
| Organic revenue and orders | GA4 e-commerce reports | The result the client is paying for |
| Organic conversion rate | GA4 | Shows whether new traffic is the right traffic |
| Clicks and impressions by page type | Search Console | Separates product, collection and blog growth |
| Top query and page movers | Search Console | Explains why revenue moved |
| Tracked keyword positions | Rank tracker | Early signal for money terms before revenue follows |
| Work shipped and next steps | Your project log | Connects results to the work and sets next month's plan |
Keep the first page to these numbers and a short written summary. Put supporting detail (backlinks, technical issues, full keyword lists) after it. If you are unsure whether Search Console or GA4 should own a metric, our guide to Google Analytics vs Google Search Console explains the difference.
Know your Search Console data limits
Most SEO reports lean on Search Console, so every tool on this list inherits its limits. Two matter for monthly reporting, and both are stated in Google's own documentation.
Source: Google Analytics Help, Search Console integration (checked October 27, 2026); Google Cloud, Data Studio pricing (checked October 27, 2026)
- 16 months of history. Google's Analytics help center states that "Search Console keeps data for the last 16 months." If you want year-over-year comparisons beyond that, export or warehouse the data now, because it will not be there later.
- A 48-hour delay. The same page says Search Console data is available 48 hours after it is collected. Schedule monthly reports for the third of the month or later so the last days of the month are complete.
- Average position is an average. Google's Performance report help defines it as "the average position of the topmost result from your site." A blended site average can move when you gain new low-ranking queries, so report positions for a fixed keyword set from a rank tracker as well.
Before you build the report, run your property through our free Search Console Quick Wins Analyzer to find pages close to page one, and use the Search Console Comparison Tool to compare two periods side by side.
Our free $100M AI Visibility Roadmap, built from 7,960 live pages and 197 A/B tests, shows how to get cited by ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews and Perplexity.
How to choose the right reporting tool
Pick by your situation, not by the longest feature list.
| Your situation | Best fit | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Agency with 10 to 50 clients | AgencyAnalytics | Per-client pricing, client portal, white label |
| Tight budget, analyst on staff | Google Data Studio | No software cost, fully custom |
| Want reports live this week | DashThis or Swydo | Templates and quick connectors |
| Already pay for Semrush or Ahrefs | Their report add-on | No new platform to learn |
| Clients asking about AI search | SE Ranking | Tracks AI Overviews, AI Mode, ChatGPT and Gemini |
| Large agency, many channels | Whatagraph | Credit-based sources, unlimited users |
If keyword positions are a big part of what you report, choose the rank tracker first and the reporting layer second. Our ranked comparison of the best agency rank trackers covers prices, keyword limits and update frequency. For a branded client view, see our guide to a white-label dashboard.
How to set up monthly SEO reports
Once you have picked a tool, this setup works for almost any store.
- Confirm tracking is clean. Check that GA4 records purchases and revenue, and that Search Console is verified for the right property. Tag campaign links with our UTM Builder so email and social traffic don't blur organic numbers.
- Agree on three to five headline metrics with the client. For stores, start with organic revenue, orders, conversion rate and clicks.
- Build one template. Put the headline metrics and a written summary on page one, then supporting detail. Reuse it for every client.
- Set the comparison periods. Show month over month and year over year, so seasonal stores don't panic in a normal slow month.
- Add a fixed keyword set. Track 50 to 200 money keywords per store in your rank tracker, grouped by product category.
- Schedule delivery after the data settles. Send on the third business day or later, given Search Console's 48-hour delay.
- Write the "so what." Two or three sentences on what changed, why, and what you will do next month. This is the part clients read.
To turn ranking gains into a revenue forecast for the summary, our CTR and Ranking Value Calculator estimates what moving a keyword up is worth.
Turning reports into decisions
The best SEO reporting tool is the one that gets a clear, revenue-first report in front of your client every month with the least manual work. For most agencies serving online stores, that is AgencyAnalytics; for budget-conscious teams with an analyst, it is Google Data Studio. Whatever you choose, lead with revenue, explain the movement in plain language, and end every report with the next three actions.
