As of October 27, 2026, none of the major SEO tool vendors we checked (Semrush, Ahrefs, SE Ranking, Screaming Frog and AgencyAnalytics) has published a Black Friday 2026 deal on its own website. Based on past years, expect Semrush, SE Ranking and AgencyAnalytics to run offers in November, while Ahrefs and Screaming Frog state that they don't run Black Friday sales at all. We will confirm 2026 deals here when the vendors publish them.
This guide is for e-commerce teams, Shopify brands and agencies planning SEO software purchases around Black Friday. You'll get what each vendor actually offered in previous years, with the year and the source, the discounts you can get any day of the year, a planning calendar, how to spot fake coupon codes, and how to vet a Black Friday SEO service deal.
Are there Black Friday SEO deals in 2026?
Not yet, at least not on vendor sites. Here is the status of each vendor's official deal page or policy as of October 27, 2026.
- Semrush. Its Black Friday landing page (semrush.com/lp/black-friday/en/) currently promotes a free trial and a 2026 AI visibility report, with no Black Friday price listed.
- SE Ranking. Its Black Friday page is titled "2025 SE Ranking Black Friday Deal" and says the 2025 deal is over. No 2026 offer is posted.
- AgencyAnalytics. Its Black Friday page says the sale is over. No 2026 offer is posted.
- Ahrefs. Its help center states it does not run one-off discounts or seasonal specials, including Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
- Screaming Frog. Its FAQ states it does not offer discounts or deals during Black Friday or Cyber Monday.
If you're reading this in November, check each vendor's page directly. Deals usually appear in mid November and end around Cyber Monday, based on the dates in past terms below.
What SEO tools offered on past Black Fridays
Past offers are the best guide to what might come back. Every entry below is from the vendor's own terms or deal page. Where we couldn't find the vendor's own record of a year, we left that year out rather than repeat third-party claims.
| Vendor | Year | What was offered | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| Semrush | 2023 | 30% off a 12-month Pro or Guru subscription for new paid users, November 15 to December 1, 2023 | Semrush Black Friday Terms and Conditions (2023) |
| Semrush | 2024 | Buy one month of Pro and get a free 1-hour SEO consultation, November 11 to December 3, 2024, capped at 200 applications | Semrush Black Friday Consultation offer terms (2024) |
| SE Ranking | 2025 | A bundle of SE Ranking, its AI Search toolkit and Planable, plus an extra 20% off add-ons such as the Agency Pack | SE Ranking Black Friday page |
| AgencyAnalytics | Most recent sale (year not stated on page) | 30% off for new customers on monthly or annual plans | AgencyAnalytics Black Friday page |
| Ahrefs | Any year | No seasonal sales; annual billing is the standing discount | Ahrefs help center, September 2026 |
| Screaming Frog | Any year | No Black Friday deals; volume discounts from 5 licenses | Screaming Frog SEO Spider FAQ |
What the fine print taught us
The Semrush terms show three patterns worth planning around. First, both offers were limited to users without an active paid subscription or trial, and the 2023 terms said you could not cancel an existing plan to qualify. Second, payments under both offers were non-refundable. Third, the 2023 terms said the discounted subscription renews automatically at the regular price on renewal day. So a Black Friday deal is best for a tool you're adding, not one you already pay for, and you should note the renewal date the day you buy.
Semrush's 2025 offer terms were not available on its site when we checked, so we have not listed a 2025 Semrush deal. Semrush also changed its plan lineup in 2026 (its pricing page now lists SEO, Starter, Pro+, Advanced and Enterprise plans), so any 2026 offer may look different from the Pro and Guru deals of past years.
SEO tool discounts you can get any day
Before waiting for November, compare a Black Friday offer with the discount you can already get. Annual billing is the standing saving at almost every vendor, and for tools that never run sales, it's the only one.

SE Ranking's Core plan drops from $129 to $103.20 a month on annual billing. Ahrefs advertises savings of up to 17% annually on its pricing page, and its help center describes the annual saving as almost 20%. Screaming Frog doesn't discount by season, but licenses drop from GBP 199 to as low as GBP 169 a year per user when you buy 20 or more.

Other ways to try before you buy
- Free trials. AgencyAnalytics offers a 14-day trial with no credit card, and Sitebulb offers a 14-day trial. Semrush's Black Friday page currently promotes a 7-day free trial.
- Free versions. Screaming Frog crawls up to 500 URLs free, and Ahrefs offers a free account.
- Free tools. QCK's free tools, such as the Website SEO Checker, Search Console Quick Wins Analyzer and Keyword Cannibalization Checker, cover many routine checks without a subscription.

Current SEO tool prices to compare deals against
A Black Friday percentage means little without the list price behind it. These are the entry prices on each vendor's own pricing page on October 27, 2026. When a deal goes live, compare its first-year cost with the annual price here, not with the monthly price the deal page shows crossed out.
| Tool | Entry plan, billed monthly | Entry plan, billed annually | Black Friday history |
|---|---|---|---|
| Semrush | $139/mo (SEO plan) | $117.33/mo | Offers in 2023 and 2024 |
| Ahrefs | $129/mo (Lite) | Up to 17% off | None, by policy |
| SE Ranking | $129/mo (Core) | $103.20/mo | Bundle offer in 2025 |
| Screaming Frog | Annual only | GBP 199/yr per user ($279 per its FAQ) | None, by policy |
| AgencyAnalytics | Not listed | $20 per client/mo | 30% for new customers in its most recent sale |
Match the tool to the job before the sale
The cheapest deal is the one for a tool you would have bought anyway. If your gap is technical crawling for a large Shopify catalog, a Screaming Frog license at full price beats a discounted suite you won't open. If your gap is client reporting, a reporting tool such as AgencyAnalytics replaces hours of manual work that a research suite discount won't touch. If your gap is research and rank tracking, that's where Semrush or SE Ranking offers are most likely to help, given their history. Our guide to the best SEO tools for agencies compares plans, limits and add-ons in detail.
Also check limits, not just price. A discounted entry plan that tracks 500 keywords won't cover a store with thousands of products, and upgrading mid-year at full price can erase the saving.
Is a Black Friday SEO deal worth waiting for?
It depends on the size of the discount compared with your standing options. Here is an illustrative first-year cost for Semrush Pro+ using today's list prices, and what a 30% annual offer like Semrush's 2023 deal would look like if one returned. That third bar is hypothetical, not an announced 2026 deal.

|---|---|
| Monthly x 12 | $3,588 |
| Annual billing | $2,978 |
| Annual, 30% off | $2,084.6 |

On these numbers, switching from monthly to annual billing saves $609.96 in year one with no waiting, and a 30% offer on top of the annual price would save another $893.41. If you need the tool today for client work or peak-season prep, buying now on annual billing usually beats losing a month of work. If you're adding a tool you can live without until late November, waiting can pay off, as long as the vendor has a history of offers.
How to plan SEO tool purchases for Black Friday
Use this process in October and early November so you're ready to buy when deals go live, or know you don't need to wait.
- List your current tools and renewal dates. Most Black Friday offers are for new subscribers, so a tool you already pay for usually won't qualify.
- Decide which jobs you need covered. Research, crawling, rank tracking and reporting. Don't buy a second tool for a job one already does.
- Check each vendor's policy. Note which vendors have run offers before (Semrush, SE Ranking, AgencyAnalytics) and which say they don't (Ahrefs, Screaming Frog).
- Price the annual plan today. This is your baseline. A Black Friday deal is only worth waiting for if it beats it.
- Bookmark the official deal pages. Semrush, SE Ranking and AgencyAnalytics each keep a Black Friday page on their own site.
- Read the terms before you pay. Check eligibility, whether the price is for one month or a year, the refund policy and the renewal price.
- Set a reminder before renewal. Discounted plans in past terms renewed at the regular price, so decide before the renewal date whether the tool earned its place.
| When | What to do |
|---|---|
| October | Audit tools and renewals, price annual plans, start free trials of tools you're considering |
| Early November | Check official deal pages; finish holiday site fixes so tools are ready for peak tracking |
| Mid to late November | Buy only offers published on vendor sites; read terms and note the renewal date |
| Cyber Monday | Last chance for most past offers, such as Semrush's December 1, 2023 and December 3, 2024 end dates |
| January | Review what you bought; cancel anything that isn't used before it renews |

How to vet Black Friday SEO service deals
Agencies and freelancers also run Black Friday offers on audits, link packages and monthly retainers. A discount is only good value if the work is. Use this grid before you sign.
| What to check | Good sign | Red flag |
|---|---|---|
| Deliverables | Named pages, fixes and reports with dates | Vague "full optimization" with no scope |
| Results claims | Case studies with named brands and periods | Guaranteed rankings or "page one in 30 days" |
| Link building | Editorial outreach to relevant sites | Hundreds of links for a fixed low price |
| Contract | Clear term and cancellation rules | Long lock-in hidden behind a first-month discount |
| Reporting | Organic revenue and conversions, not just rankings | Reports with traffic charts only |
Google's own guidance on hiring an SEO is a useful checklist here: it warns against anyone who guarantees rankings. Ask any provider to show past work, explain what they'll change on your site and how they'll measure revenue.
QCK doesn't need a Black Friday discount to show you where you stand: the free 30-minute plan call benchmarks your store against your top three competitors on Google and AI answers. You can see our published case studies and every A/B test result, wins and losses, on our A/B test results page.
Black Friday SEO for your own store
If you landed here looking for ways to get more Black Friday traffic, the software is secondary. What ranks in November is mostly work you did in the months before. A few checks are worth doing now, with or without a new tool:
- Keep one evergreen Black Friday URL. Update the same page every year rather than creating a new one, so it keeps its links and history.
- Check redirects and expired promo pages. The Redirect Checker catches chains and loops from past campaigns, and the 404 Redirect Mapper helps map retired URLs.
- Find quick wins in Search Console. Queries ranking just off page one are the fastest to move before peak season.
- Tag holiday campaigns. The UTM Builder keeps email and social traffic separate from organic in GA4.
